    • First member of her team. Found when she was a little girl as a Ghastly, just east of Saffron City, her hometown. It took a liking to her and hasn't left her side yet. Enjoys teasing her and others, particularly by messing with Dismay's dreams. She keeps a bat with a seal on it in her bag at all times for disciplinary purposes.

    • Second member of her team. Probably the most agreeable. Not terribly strong, but decent speed makes them good for scouting ahead or blitz attacks. Dismay hasn't decided on whether or not she ever wants to make her evolve, but it's pretty much a moot point since she hasn't found any evolutionary stones, and couldn't afford one if she did.

    • Dismay's line of thinking was that if she used a Ditto to copy a flying type, she could use it to get around more easily. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The most use Dismay has so far found for the creature is to use it as a mirror when getting ready in the morning.

    • Essentially the most useful of her team, Rocky is Dismay's primary transport. Sure, digging tunnels is a horribly inefficient way to get around, and it takes forever to get the dirt out of her hair and clothes, but in a way it's more exciting than just flying, right? Ha. Ha... Right...

    • The team bruiser. Dismay actually wanted a Snorlax, but she couldn't afford to keep one fed. Sudo makes for a reliable brawler when needed, but as a Rock type he's unfortunately not much help against actual Fighting types. Dismay has been hoping to cover his weaknesses with speed, but there's only so much she can do.

    • Obtained more recently in Celadon City. After far more time gambling in the game center than she ever should have spent, Dismay attempted to obtain a Porygon. Unfortunately, the one she got was a bit... defective.

Bio: Dismay was born and raised in Saffron City, center of the Kanto region. She's just a regular kid, not one of those special few who got a Pokedex from Professor Oak, whom she's never met. She set out on a personal quest, not to become a Champion, not to become a breeder, not to capture them all; no, she just set out to see the world. Which, as it turned out, was a little more difficult than she'd intended. She gets lost more easily than she'd ever like to admit, but she's gotten better at finding food in the wilderness during the time she's been away. Now about 18, she's seen most all of Kanto but has been having a hard time finding a Flying type to help her leave the region without having to rely on artificial transportation.

Her basic premise is to try and make her a character who's a somewhat more down-to-earth character set in the Pokemon universe. Nothing particularly special, just your average joe derp. A tomboy of sorts, but not some courageous hero or force of good or anything like that.
